I only stumbled across Master Weixing’s work recently while browsing around on Pinterest. His body of work, his accomplishments and contributions to the art of watercolor in China are incredible.
I once heard a photographer say; “Photography is the art of capturing light.” I believe Master Weixing captures light beautifully with his paintings and the above featured piece is no exception. You can almost feel the warm rays of sunshine against this man’s face.
