Iklesies by Charles Reid.
Iklesies, a watercolorist himself that lives in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, was recently at one of Charles Reid’s workshops in Port d’Alger (or the Port of Algiers on the coast of theMediterraneanSea). It turns out Reid decided to make him the subject of one of his paintings.
Reid is quite an accomplished watercolorist having published 8 books on the subject, holding workshops around the world, and being represented by two very well-respected art galleries in the United States.
Long-time members of The Watercolor Gallery may remember that Rod Buckle mentioned Charles Reid in his interview for the gallery.
