Larin’s work is no stranger to the gallery. And, quite honestly, I wouldn’t mind featuring nearly every one of his works in it. But this one caught my eye recently.
There are more subtle details to this piece than I can take the time to iterate through but notice, if you please, the way each of the girls are holding their arms. A smoke break during, no doubt, what was an arduous ballet session calls for a time to rest ones arms, back, and legs.
