African Elephant by Rafael McKenzie Soares in Rhode Island.
Soares is no joke. This inspires me to try darker themes with my watercolors. I inevitably give up on trying to make my work dark because of how long it takes to truly get to the color you want with watercolors. It isn’t easy – Soares, as I said, is no joke.
