Swatchmen by Federico None in Rome, Italy.

Now this is art. None obviously had a reason to put this together – what his reason was I can not be sure – but whatever it is I’m sure glad he did. If you haven’t noticed the clock reads noon. So, I’ve decided to feature this piece at exactly noon today. Clever, I know.

I think what I like most about this is that it is, well, different. It invokes thought. And really that is what I find most interesting about art. When you look at a painting or drawing and you can’t help but pause, think and wonder. Why did None paint this? What does it mean? What does it mean to me? Why do I like it?

Man I love curating The Watercolor Gallery.
